If I create a separate private chat for our guild's use will people use it?

I would definately use it, but I cannot be on all the time as they have the chat sites blocked from work.

We get raids from the Kong chat, so don't know if it is a good idea to miss them out. Unless we have all 100 people active and sharing their raids, it might be not wise:P

you would still be able to see kong chat, it would just be a easy place to go to post raids directly to guild members or to plan things with the guild are for people to ask questions and get immediate answers .

i think it is a good idea. One thing i have noticed - if you use script, monsters that are shared as pm's can still show up there. At least I know I have joined a few that 'haven't appeared' in the standard chat window. This will be a big problem when we start lairs.

I think a chat would be nice, even if it's just a place for guildies to bullshit..
